The month of July for the Carmelite family was truly a blessing for the Queen of Carmel Community in Lucena as well as for the Delegation of Asia and especially for our Congregation – the Carmelitas Misioneras Teresianas.

Last July 16 and 20 of this year 2021, Solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel and Feast of Elijah, the community of Lucena together with Manila and Pangantucan communities rejoiced with the celebration of the Perpetual Profession of Sr. Clarynse N. Subijano and First Religious Profession of Maria Le Thi Mong Linh as they generously dedicated themselves to the Church, God and neighbors. In the hands of Sr. Chrezann M. Angulo, Provincial Delegate, they vowed to God chastity, poverty and obedience, and were welcomed to the family with joy and gratitude.

The Perpetual Profession of Sr. Clarynse was held at the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes, presided by the bishop of Lucena, His Excellency Most Rev. Mel Rey M. Uy while the First Profession of Sr. Linh was held in the chapel of the Queen of Carmel community, which was presided by Fr. Gregorio Baguio, OCD. The days were blessed with people dear to the sisters: family, friends, neighbors and benefactors as well as the staff and volunteers of the Center.

In the midst of the thriving pandemic, the celebration was made possible through the generosity and assistance of many people to make it accessible through livestreaming.  Those who were not physically present were united with the sisters through their prayers and with the aforementioned social media platforms.  Nevertheless, the family of Sr. Linh virtually witnessed her profession. The Congregation lauded their kindness and openness to offer their child to God in the family of Carmelitas Misioneras Teresianas.

Rejoicing for the gift of vocation, the community prepared a simple program, wherein the novices and scholars of the Center performed some dances and songs for the sisters.  It was indeed a grace-filled celebration and an affirmation of God’s constant love and faithfulness to His people.

“Because I love you, O Church, I seek in service the means of pleasing you”.

Last July 20, 2021 was an extra ordinary event of my life as I finally made my first profession of vows to religious life together with the celebration of the Feast of the prophet Elijah venerable order of Carmel.  It was indeed so beautiful, with all the preparations of my sisters in the community – Queen of Carmel, it turned out to be very solemn and unforgettable.

My first profession is not the end of my novitiate but it brings me into another stage of novitiate which I hope will help me to grow more mature in loving and serving the Church; God and neighbor. As I commit to the vows of chastity, poverty, and obedience, I therefore unite as myself to the family of Carmelitas Misioneras Teresianas.

I will never forget that day of celebration!  It was indeed a blessing, wherein the Christian faithful came to join with us despite of the pandemic. Everybody was careful to observe and follow the protocols on this occasion.   I thank God for keeping all my visitors safe and away from any possible contamination of the virus.  Aside from my own community, our sisters from Manila and Pangantucan despite of a high risk of their safety were able to join me in my first religious profession.  I thank them for their presence, who in the midst of their community schedule they were able to accompany me in such wonderful celebration unexpectedly.  It made me so much happy, although my family and relatives were not able to make it.  Thanks for the online coverage because I felt that they were virtually present in my special day.  I felt so overwhelmed how the sisters find ways so that my family can connect and join us during the rites and Eucharistic celebration.  Thanks, God for their loving initiative and support.

“Mi corazón quiere adorar al Señor”.  Thank you, Lord, for the gift of my vocation and for all the blessings that You have bestowed upon me all throughout the different stages of my formation.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all the sisters who have helped me to be formed and guided me. For all their guidance and inspirations, encouragement to continuously giving my “Yes” to the Lord in the midst of some difficulties that I encountered.

Through my consecration to the Lord, I wish to deepen more my relationship, encounter Him intimately and be united through the three pillars of our life as CMT: prayer, community and apostolate. “God will not leave us without light or guidance…” so that we will always be ready to fulfill His will and plan for us.

Fr. Greg Baguio, ocd, the main celebrant of my first profession, in his homily, he said: In religious life I will be encountering trials and difficulties. That is why, I humbly ask for the prayers of everyone, and fervent accompaniment as well, so that I may be faithful in this journey until the end.

Niño Center. The homeowners and officers, together with the coordinating Sisters; Claire Marie Sy and Daisel Bodanio, cmt prepared a fun filled and meaningful activities to celebrate the feast.

The following activities highlighted the events:

  • 1st day, Oct. 3 – Procession of the image Our Lady Pilar in the entire village
  • 2nd – 4th day, Oct. 4-6 – Recollection for Couples and Youth
  • 5th day, Oct. 7 – Rosary Rally for Peace and Unity
  • 6th day, Oct. 8 – Kids and Youth Night (a night of games and dances)
  • 7th – 9th day, Oct. 9-11 Triduum Mass followed by a Taize prayer prepared for the youth in line with the celebration of the Year of the Youth. The activity was facilitated by the Parish Youth Committee.
  • Feast day, Oct. 12:
    In the morning was the solemn celebration of the Eucharist in honor of our Lady of Pillar, presided by Rev. Fr. Jude Moreno, Parish Priest. Incorporated into the mass was the Baptism of 8 babies and children, followed by the Agape.
    In the evening was the:
    – “Gabi ni Maria” – the Parish Youth Communittee Serenede the 83 families living in the housing project with their Marian songs, in honor of our Lady of Pilar followed by the blessing of youth. Then the Awarding of winners for:
    – “Pahiyas kay Maria” – each family decorated their houses in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
    – Cheering Competition for Kids and Youth, represented by each block.
    – And the recognition of the most active parent of the community. Those couples who participated actively in all the activities.
    The night ended with Praise and Worship lead by the Youth for Christ. It was, indeed, a moment of praise and thanksgiving to God for all his goodness thru the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

Nueve días llenos de alegría y acción de gracias en honor a Nuestra Señora del Pilar, patrona del proyecto de vivienda de Sor Teresa Mira de Sto. Centro Niño. Los propietarios y oficiales, junto con las Hermanas coordinadoras; Claire Marie Sy y Daisel Bodanio, cmt prepararon actividades divertidas y llenas de significado para celebrar la fiesta.

Las siguientes destacaron durante las celebraciones:

1er día, 3 de octubre – Procesión de la imagen Nuestra Señora Pilar por todo el pueblo.
2do – 4to día, 4-6 de octubre – Retiro para parejas y jóvenes
5to día, 7 de octubre – Rosario por la Paz y la Unidad
6to día, 8 de octubre – Noche de niños y jóvenes (una noche de juegos y bailes)
7º – 9º día, 9-11 de octubre – Misa de triduo, seguida de una oración de Taize preparada para los jóvenes en línea con la celebración del Año de la Juventud. La actividad fue animada por el Grupo Parroquial de Jóvenes.
Fiesta, 12 de octubre:
Por la mañana fue la solemne celebración de la Eucaristía en honor a nuestra Señora del Pilar, presidida por D. Jude Moreno, párroco. Se incorporó a la misa el Bautismo de 8 bebés y niños, seguido del Ágape.
Por la tarde tuvieron lugar:
– “Gabi ni Maria” – la Serenata Comunitaria de la Juventud de la Parroquia: las 83 familias que viven en el proyecto de vivienda con sus canciones marianas, en honor a nuestra Señora del Pilar seguido de la bendición de la juventud. Luego la Entrega de premios a los ganadores por:
– “Pahiyas kay Maria” – cada familia decoraba su casa en honor a la Santísima Virgen María.
– Concurso de animación (cheering) para niños y jóvenes, representado por cada bloque.
– Y el reconocimiento del progenitor más activo de la comunidad. Aquellas parejas que participaron activamente en todas las actividades.
La noche terminó con Alabanza y Adoración dirigida por la Juventud para Cristo. Fue, de hecho, un momento de alabanza y acción de gracias a Dios por toda su bondad por la intercesión de la Santísima Virgen María.

María del Rosario Pérez Paya, Animadora Provincial, y Teresa Vives, Consejera Provincial.

Las tres jornadas completas de trabajo y convivencia fraterna. El lema: “Este es mi cuerpo: el objeto de tu misión y contemplación.”

El mensaje de bienvenida de la H. Mª del Rosario abrió oficialmente el acto. Usó el pasaje bíblico de Mateo “Venid, benditos de mi Padre… porque estuve hambriento y me disteis de comer, estuve sediento y me disteis de beber…” (Mt. 25, 34-40). La reflexión de corazones agradecidos por todo lo andado fue animada también por la meditación a cargo del p. Haluendo Amit, OCD, compartiendo con las hermanas la riqueza de una vocación misionera que implica el ‘ser enviadas al pueblo’ y el acoger y abrir sus corazones a aquellas ‘personas que les son enviadas’, junto con sus realidades, preocupaciones, esperanzas y aspiraciones. La Misa votiva del Espíritu Santo siguió a la conferencia, apuntando el reto constante a estar abiertas a las inspiraciones del Espíritu Santo, especialmente en este evento importante de la Delegación. Fue leído también el mensaje de la Animadora General, Hna. María José Gay Miguel. Siguieron los informes del Consejo de la Delegación. Después, el trabajo en las comunidades de discernimiento, dividiéndose la asamblea en grupos, para identificar los temas y puntos importantes de los informes y compartiendo al final lo reflexionado en los grupos.

El Segundo día de la Asamblea de la Delegación Provincial: oración matutina, eucaristía… y los informes del equipo de la PJV, seguidos por el de las cuatro comunidades de Asia. La Hna. María del Rosario Pérez Paya comunicó como Delegada Provincial a la Hna. Chrezann Angulo. Acto seguido, la elección de las consejeras. Por la tarde, se invitó a las hermanas a empezar con la reflexión personal, seguida por el compartir en las comunidades de discernimiento para trabajar con la recopilación de la reflección pre-asamblea y los informes, para realizar las líneas de acción de cada “bloque”. Cada una de las hermanas participó con entusiasmo en el trabajo. Luego, cada grupo presentó los resultados de su trabajo en el plenario.

La tercera jornada de trabajo se dedicó a la recopilación de propuestas, aprobación de los acuerdos de la Delegación, firma de actas y celebración de acción de gracias. No podía faltar la fiesta, propia de nuestras comunidades palautianas (recreación multicultural) y el intercambio de obsequios. Nuestro Dios se merece una alabanza armoniosa…

El nuevo Equipo de Animación y Gobierno de la Delegación queda constituido de la siguiente manera :

Con inmensa alegría os comunicamos que hoy, 9 de abril, en el transcurso de la celebración de la I Asamblea y con la lectura del decreto de erección, ha quedado constituida la Delegación provincial “San Lorenzo Ruiz” de Asia.

El Equipo provincial de animación y gobierno ha nombrado a la delegada y a la primera consejera, tal y como indican nuestras Constituciones, y la Asamblea ha elegido a la segunda consejera, quedando formado el gobierno de la Delegación por las siguientes hermanas:

  • H. Chrezann Angulo Magyaya, delegada provincial
  • H. Gloria Esther Alonso Méndez, primera consejera
  • H. Bless Llave Collado, segunda consejera

Agradecemos su disponibilidad y seguimos pidiendo al Espíritu Santo que las acompañe, a ellas y a todas las hermanas que forman la Delegación, en esta nueva andadura que acaban de comenzar.

Esta Asamblea provincial cuenta también con un equipo de información que, al final de la jornada de hoy y también mañana, irá compartiendo con la Provincia las crónicas de este acontecimiento histórico para nuestra familia religiosa.

TERESA CENTER https://asia.cmtpalau.org/2017/02/26/sta-teresa-center/ https://asia.cmtpalau.org/2017/02/26/sta-teresa-center/#respond Sat, 25 Feb 2017 21:52:36 +0000 https://asia.cmtpalau.org/?p=822 El día 26 de febrero es un día especial para nosotras, las CMT, pues recordamos siempre con cariño a nuestra hermana, la venerable Teresa Mira, en el aniversario de su muerte, pero es que además aquí en Lucena nosotras celebramos también el aniversario de la fundación del Centro que lleva su nombre. Son 19 años ya que, a través de este centro y gracias a la generosidad de tantas familias y organizaciones que colaboran con nosotras, realizamos nuestro sueñode ayudar a las familias necesitadas de nuestro entorno.
Ya el viernes pasado los niños tuvieron una serie de actividades a través de las cuales se les dio a conocer a la hermana Teresa Mira, y colorearon algunos dibujos sobre ella.
La celebración dio comienzo con la Eucaristía, presidida por Mns. Atilano Oracion, uno de los formadores del Seminario de la diócesis, en el salón multiuso del centro. Después de la misa, la comunidad invitó al sacerdote y a algunos de los vecinos que asistieron a desayunar. El programa en si empezó alrededor de las 9 de la mañana, con unas palabras de acogida por la directora del centro la Sra. Luz Marquez, a continuación la Hna. Raquel Sánchez, quien con el resto de la comunidad de Manila habían venido para unirse a nuestra celebración, dio una pequeña charla a los beneficiarios del centro y otras personas presentes sobre la vida y el mensaje de la Hna. Teresa Mira: hacer siempre el bien a todos.
El momento más esperado del programa llegó con los diversos bailes y cantos en los que todos participaron: desde los niños más pequeños de 3 años, a la madres, los estudiantes universitarios becarios e incluso el personal del centro. Cada uno puso lo mejor de sí mismo, mostrando sus habilidades y todo el mundo disfrutó realmente.
Hacia el final del programa tuvolugar la entrega de premios: a la familia del año, la pareja del año, la madre del año, la costurera del año y el joven del año, que habían sido previamente elegidos por el equipo directivo del centro. También hubo un momento muy emotivo cuando las hermanas entregaron una placa de reconocimiento, por los años dedicados al centro contanta generosidad y fidelidad, a la Sra. Eufemia Tolosa, ayudante en la clínica (10 años en el centro), la Sra. Bibiana Reyes nuestra trabajador social (15 años en el centro) y la Sra. Luz Marquez, directora del centro y que lleva con nosotras 20 años.
Una vez concluido el programa llegó la hora de la comida para todos los beneficiarios del centro: espaguetis y pollo, que se distribuyó. Cuando todo el mundo se hubo saciado y regresaron a sus casas, la comunidad y el personal del centro continuaron con la celebración en el comedor. Un día completo por el que dar gracias a Dios, especialmente por nuestra hermana Teresa Mira, quien con su sencillez, su humildad, su caridad y su sonrisa luminosa es siempre un ejemplo y modelo para cada hermana CMT.
