Sr. Shiela Mae R. Alcantara, cmt took her first vows as a gesture of giving herself to the Church: God and Neighbor, on the solemnity of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel.

In the celebration, she was reminded of her call as a religious and her response to this call, an everyday wholehearted “yes” to God’s will and her mission: being sent to love the poor as a sign of loving Jesus.
