RENEWALS OF RELIGIOUS VOWS IN VIETNAM

“I am no longer mine. From now on, I belong to you, oh Holy Church”. With these words, based on spiritual experience of our Founder, Bl. Francisco Palau y Quer OCD, two of our vietnamese sisters renewed their vows of chastity, poverty and obedience, and committed for one more year to live the friendship with God in prayer, to build communion through fraternal relationschips, and to serve to the most needed as Theresian Carmelite Missionaries. The ceremonies took place on July 20 and August 15, 2024, in the chapel of Descalced Carmelites in Cao Thai Parish, Saigon. The sisters were accompanied by community and their families, who also shared delicious meal with the community of OCD Fathers. We congratulate our sisters for their courage to keep believing in the dream of Jesus of universal fraternity and keep working every day to make this dream come true. We offer our prayers for them, the CMT community in Vietnam and their families. May the Lord finished in them the beautiful work he began in them when He called them to life, and more closely, when He called them to follow Him in palautian Carmel.
