“THINGS BY THEIR NAME”: INTERNATIONAL WOMAN’S DAY

We share the initiative that has emerged from Infancia Robada El Vendrell and Infancia Robada Argentina, in which they invite us to CELEBRATE, RAISE AWARENESS, REFLECT and PROMOTE 8M, INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY.

Let’s make this week a week with meaning, depth and interiority on what it means to be “Women leaders: For an equal future in the world of COVID-19”, the international slogan of the day proposed by the UN for this year 2021.

May this be the possibility of making visible so many efforts, achievements and works of women leaders, in their families, jobs, communities and society; to be the voice of so many silenced women, victims of femicide, violence and discrimination, and to rethink what else we can do to continue on the path of equality, respect and freedom.

To do this, they propose a series of activities and slogans that allow us to dialogue, share and make visible the beauty and empowerment of women in different areas of life and society.

Every day has its novelty and we invite you to follow it, reflect on it and share it.

AS A PALAUTIAN FAMILY, LET US HELP TO CARRY THIS MESSAGE TO EVERY CORNER OF THE WORLD!

To start this day, we propose three things:

1. Let’s take advantage of the covers and profiles of social networks to make visible that in honor and memory of 8M, because we want each other alive and that there is not one more nor one less that is violated and ignored, we need to call things by their name. Let’s fill the networks with this logo and make ourselves echo of this campaign. For you, for your sons and daughters, for your brothers or sisters, for your parents, neighbors, friends, for your community, for everyone, let’s join this March 8, with sense of depth and meaning.
2. Invite them to share and reload the slogan of the day. Do not pass by, take the time to share your answer, to share to the world the beauty of that woman you know and who has changed your life. Let us make visible with meaning, with experiences, with gratitude.
3. From now on, put at your home, door, business, community, etc: purple balloons, or a handkerchief, or a colored paper, which makes it visible the respect, protection and care for life of every woman.
